Viva la Verve - Thanks a Bunch!

Good morning!  It's Friday...TGIF!  What a week!
Three out of the five of us here at the Schafer house were S-I-C-K...but, after a trip to the dr. and some awesome medication, we are now all getting better!

I couldn't be happier to share the new
with you today!  I used some fabulous Verve-goodness...

The Color Throwdown #277 was the perfect soft, subtle and beautiful color combo to flash my Verve...and...

... Pretty Pink Posh embellishments!

More great news... Pretty Pink Posh now has it's own store front!  We are celebrating the launch of the new store with a SALE!  AND...a little birdie told me that there may be a few NEW items in the shop!

I used some fun dies, My Mind's Eye papers, thread and layered up a fun and whimsical thank you card!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Reverse Confetti Camera

I'm up on the Reverse Confetti Camera today!  Head on over there to see a couple of technique tips in creating this Confetti-fyed Burlap Canvas!

Here's my attempt at an altered canvas...but, make sure you head over to Reverse Confetti Blog to see all the nitty-gritty details:)

I'm linking up to some awesome challenges, too!

Paper Issues: Just My Type is still up and running!  Cure for the Monday Blues #2 really inspired me to have some free-flying cranes...and thinking about hanging this canvas in my dear daughter's bedroom.  I also adored the tall & skinny sketch at Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #330 and used it as my basic layout (flipped).  The Runway Inspired #52 was such a beautiful spring inspiration, I had to use it also.

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

BIRTHDAY - Seize the Sketch Reminder

Seize the Sketch #12 is still up and running and you have a few days left to play along with us!

I adore this color combination that my friend, Sarah Gough, put together over at Crazy 4 Challenges #220!

I used some of my favorite Uniko Studio stamps and dies, too!

Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum Stamps & Designer Dies

Inking technique:  I sprayed some glimmer mist over some scrap paper and die cut the butterfly...the ink splotches on the background are from the same mist.

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

A LOVE-ing Farewell - The Pink Elephant

It is a bittersweet day for me!
Today is my last post as a designer at The Pink Elephant!
I have LOVED every single challenge, every single Monday over the last year and a half...and even longer as a participant!  I will be stopping by TPE often to play along as much as I can!

Without further ado...this week's challenge at The Pink Elephant is a LOVE THEME!

The January Color Palette Challenge and the Weekly Sketch Challenge #160 at My Favorite Things worked great for my LOVE-themed card today!  Really Reasonable Ribbon #87: Valentine/Love Theme is up and running this week, too!

Did you notice the stenciled/spritzed background on my card?  The Online Card Class: Stenciled was a great reminder to use my sprays and stencils again:)

There's no stamping on my card, but there is INK, spray ink on the background!  I layered up some fun Studio Calico Print Shop papers, vellum, and MFT die cuts, along with a doily, some ribbon, and enamel dots!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Hello Friend - PTI January Blog Hop

It's been ages since I've had a chance to play along with the monthly hops at Papertrey Ink!  This one, the January Blog Hop Challenge, was perfect for me since I had all of my Valentine supplies handy and ready to whip up something new!

The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #135 provided a fantastic layout for me, too!

I had a ball using some of the new My Mind's Eye Lost & Found collection that I received from a contest win!  What goes even better with Valentine cards...???  Why, embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh, of course...buttons, sequins and pom pom trim!

These are the fabulous Papertrey Ink products that I used on my card...
Think Big Favorites #3 Mini Stamp Set
Large Scallop Border Die
Just the Ticket Border Die
Kraft Card Stock

Notice the stenciling under the vellum tag??  I learned all about that at the Stenciled Class - Day 1 at Simon Says Stamp!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
