Good Luck

It's hard to believe that tomorrow is May 1st! Time to get crackin' on some graduation/good luck card for the end of the school year:)

The Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World was the inspiration for the patterns and colors of my card...so trendy and funky...I love it!

I also encorporated the sketch challenge #330 and Free For All 62 from Splitcoaststampers into my card.

After doing some collage-style stamping with Fifth Avenue Floral on Whisper White, I stamped one of the flower images on Kiwi Kiss, cut it out, and mounted it upon the collage.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today is my son's 11th birthday! It's hard to believe 11 years ago today Greg and I were awaiting our first baby's arrival. At this very moment, I am reminiscing that special day, while Noah is getting fitted for his very own hunting bow with his dad...Happy birthday, buddy! We will celebrate as a family tomorrow evening with dinner and a movie...Buffalo Wild Wings and RIO!

Poppies For You

This little card was made using a sweet image from a Sale-a-bration set called Punch Bunch. I inked up the scalloped poppy with Chocolate Chip and then again with Real Red, punched them with 1 3/8" Circle and Scallop Circle punches...and finally stacked them to create a dimensional effect.

I'm submitting this card to two fantastic challenges... the Color Cue 14 using turquoise, red, kraft & brown...

and the MOJO sketch 188 (square, of course:).

Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods! Hope you're having a great week:)

I also encorporated the colors red, aqua & white from the CR84FN Color Challenge #25.

The Shabby Tea Room #59 featured a beautiful butterfly inspiration for the week and I was able to use the technique challenge at Splitcoaststampers, TLC322 called Stampin' in the Die.

Have a great week, friends!

thank u

This "thank u" card was quite involved for someone as rusty as I am at stamping and creating! I even pulled out the sewing machine for this bright and cheery creation:)

My favorite part of this card is the darling little "thank u" tag... isn't it cute? The image is from the Cute by the Inch hostess set, which includes nine little square images (that are equally cute). After inking the image up in Real Red, I punched it out using the Small Tag punch.

The Mojo Monday Sketch 187 and the...

Play Date Cafe Challenge 78 were the inspiration for this project!

Thanks for stopping by the stage:) Have a great holiday weekend!

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Bashful Blue (textured), Whisper White CS, variety DSP

Happy Easter!

Edited to add: This card was selected as the winner for the ColourQ Challenge 81... Thanks, Arielle and design team! I will wear my crown with pride:)

It's a dreary, rainy day here...so what better day to get back in my office to create an Easter card! I used that darling new set from the Occasions Mini called Easter Blossoms. Isn't this silhouette image the sweetest? It reminds me of when I was a little girl all dressed up for Easter Sunday!

What do you think of these sweet little Vintage Flower Adornments? This was also my first attempt at the Scrunched Seam Binding bow... I definately need some more practice with scrunching and tying them:)

I combined some awesome challenges for my card today... Arielle's ColourQ Challenge #81...

The Shabby Tea Room #58 Inspiration Challenge using pastels and stripes and...

the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 137. This card also fits the bill for the Splitcoaststampers WT319 using OVALS and the Crazy4Challenges 84 to create an Easter card.

Thanks for stopping in! Happy Easter!
