Sugar Pea Designs Creative Color Challenge - Be YOU tiful

Hey there, SugarPea Designs friends!

This selfie chic is one of my favorite stamp sets at SugarPea Designs!  She's so fun, trendy, and sassy...perfect to create cards for some of my new Younique-ified friends!  You know who you are, lash-loving ladies!

There's a new Creative Color Challenge up and running over at the SugarPea Designs blog today!  Check out this gorgeous inspiration graphic and color palette!

To play along with the SugarPea Designs Creative Color Challenge, the rules are very simple…

  • Create a new card or project using the colors in the CCC#3.  SugarPea Designs stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated :).
  • Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: CCC3 so that we may check out your beautiful work.
  • Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
  • One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15
Here are the Sugar Pea Designs stamps and dies that I used on my card today!

I stamped the "selfie momma" image from the Picture Perfect stamp set and left her uncolored for a sketch-like look.    The SugarCuts - Heart Journal Card Set card became the image panel with a SugarCuts - Polaroid Journal Card cut with the "smile" over the top!.

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
Head on over to the SugarPea Designs blog and see what the other SugarChics whipped up with today's color challenge!

Reverse Confetti - More Than Ice Cream

Hi there, stamping friends!
One of the best things about summer?!  Ice cream, of course, homemade ice cream!
Our county fair just came to an end and we always look forward to eating homemade ice cream at one of the vendors at the fair!  This year, they had a new flavor...PEACH!  I heard is was delicious, but I stuck with my usual Vanilla!

Here are the fabulously fun Reverse Confetti goodies that I used on my County Fair TRIBUTE CARD today!

I layered up some fun, summery-looking papers with one of the new Weather or Dot (and Stripes - Quick Card Panels and a chevron printed Folded Tag Confetti Cuts tied with some yellow/white baker's twine.  The sentiment from Love & Ice Cream was stamped over a white circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and nestled next to the Love & Ice Cream Confetti Cuts ice cream cone!  Looks yummy enough to eat, I think!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
